How to say YES to a NO
Please, repeat after me: NO!
Sounds pretty harmless, doesn’t it? Well, people who have met the true meaning of this short yet powerful word would beg to differ.
The main correlation with “NO” is rejection. It is the word that has destroyed dreams, hopes and aspirations.
When we are rejected, we feel that we are not good enough and that we should give up. This is not the case the only thing that limits us is ourselves. To get over a rejection you have to keep some simple things in mind:
Expectation and disillusion are the roots of all evil! The more we expect, the bigger the disappointment.
Treasure your talents but know your limits- you better get some reality checks from time to time just to make sure you won’t be putting yourself on a pedestal from where you might fall under the pressure of a big NO.
Accept that every mistake comes with a lesson and move on. Even if the mighty NO will kick you in the face, remember that new opportunities are right about the corner so get up on your feet and chase your dreams!
